I'm repurposing a set constructed for #1211-MoodRoom. This was a very dark set with a Trojan Horse standing at the back. |
When I opened this file, it contained one of the bureacratic figures. No horse! I'm going to have to rebuild it. |
1. |
I opened the file, scaled down the figure and imported the 3 Trojan Horse Figures I have (Figures/CustomFigures/TrojanHorse). |
The horse definitely need retexturing. I think I'll spend a few minutes with this while deciding what the rest of the set should look like. Maybe I should move them to the left a bit more. |
What if I had a Brass band grouped to the left, playing their instruments? This may take more time than I have. |
2. |
I found a number of good textures that will work on the horses. But, the horses are mapped with a template (Textures/horse/horse_skin.jpg). |
I'll create a new Textures Folder - Textures/DonTextures/Trojan and begin the process of creating new texture maps. |
3. |
I loaded 8 new selected textures into the texture map .psd file (above) creating 8 layers with textures on each. I'll try fitting each of these textures over the existing map template. |
I built 3 new texture maps. |
4. |
I installed these maps on the horses. |
Now, I need to figure out what I can put in the left side of the image that will add some dimension, aesthetic balance and mystery. |
5. |
I'll try my favorite, the Snake Horn. |
6. |
I added a blimp to the Snake Horn. I added a set of figures and moved the ladders around. |
I'm not sure what to think of this at the moment. I think I need some time away from this image to see if it is useable. I don't know where I'm going with this image. The day is running out! |
I think that I should take the dirigible out of the horn.
- Anthem
- Anthem to the Trojan Horse
- Indoctrination Session |
7. |
I removed the dirigible and created a final render. |
8. |
I added a black shadow overlay to the render and called it a final image. |
9. |
I renamed the painting, Anthem to Eris. |
10. |
It was juried into an international exhibition - Hyper-Real, Caladan Gallery, 2012. |
