Since
the criteria are best understood within the context
of an actual program, this section will introduce the
featured New Media Resource called LIFTOFF.
Liftoff is a digital product which features the Space
Shuttle as its topic. It has three focus areas:
- Space Exploration
- Virtual Tour
- Astronaut Training
Each of these areas offers a variety of digital activities
which feature aspects of the criteria which have been
introduced. Teachers will be shown a variety of activities
which help support the theory which has been introduced.
