PHOTOSHOP FOR TEACHERS

Written by Don Bergland this instructional manual presents a unique approach to Adobe Photoshop for teaching and classroom environments. It consists of 436 pages and covers the Photoshop environment in 8 lessons: Basics, Shapes on Layers, Manipulating Shapes, Altering Shapes, Using Photos, Text on Layers, Filters & FX, and Painting. The book develops image-making concepts through a sequential series of lessons and features an innovative approach to layers as a means of understanding the essence of Photoshop. This manual has been used in both Canada and the USA. It has been used in a variety of distance courses and has been featured at the University of Victoria, Lesley University, and community workshops in the Pacific Northwest. It has also been presented widely through media course offerings in Missouri, Minnesotta, Washington, and South Carolina. In 2004, will be featured in multimedia course presentations in Washington and in 2005, in Nevada and Idaho.
