instructional resource was written by Don Bergland and first
published by Bodwell Internet Inc. It is a detailed instructional
manual outlining a general project-based use of Macromedia Director,
an industry software authoring package. The resource is unique
in presenting both a training and a project feature for the
learning experiences. It contains 8 chapters which presents
the authoring experience in a logical sequence, from sequenced
slide shows to animation, through to interactive structures
using Lingo programming.This manual became the central resource
for the teaching of CD-ROM authoring products at Bodwell Internet.
Featured through 2 years of curriculum implementation, it served
as the basis for the authoring department at the school. It
integrated the entire section and was team-taught through large
lectures and small training groups. It was later used in the
AE 322 program at the University of Victoria and is currently
employed as a basic resource for the senior digital projects
program at the university. |
