SPACE!!...And Beyond

ETI's interactive
CD-ROM Space Simulation Series puts you in the driver's seat of the most
powerful vehicle ever conceived. You're going to take the space shuttle
to the stars! Through a series of stunning multimedia multimedia presentations
and hands-on simulations, you'll learn what it takes to fly the shuttle:
to take off, land and complete missions & assignments. Every last
detail matches real-world NASA procedures and timelines.
ETI’s ultimate goal is
to create a whole new way of learning life skills through interactive
role-play and collaborative problem solving.
When all Space Simulation products are complete, the five-part series
will offer the user a sophisticated, immersive, real-life experience in
the Space program. It will take the user from "first-day" orientation
as an astronaut candidate, through building a knowledge-base through theoretical
and practical training, then finally to intuitive problem-solving as an
important member of the team.
The goal of the series is to use the USSRC – NASA license to develop
realistic simulations that challenge and entertain. We hope to provide
the user with an environment and experience that is worthy of the very
best of human endeavours.
In the end, the series is about more than Space. We’re providing
an environment that fosters collaborative team play – the secret
of success in business, technology, sports, and normal human interactions.
If users can master the relevant elements and challenging situations faced
here, they can easily transfer these newly acquired abilities to other
life pursuits.
The ultimate product is truly "edutainment" in nature. In simple
terms, what we propose to do is incorporate elements of problem-solving
and role-playing game simulation into the learning environment. Our aim
is to redefine the learning process as "fun" and provide an
exciting environment whereby the users work (and learn) together for mutual
benefit and satisfaction in carrying out exciting "Space-based"
missions.
