Russ
Baker After graduating from the University of Victoria (B.Sc. 69), Russ joined IBM where he worked in Canada and Australia in various sales and marketing positions. He left IBM in 1975 to become a self-employed business and marketing consultant in technology-related fields. He was a founder and director of Evergreen Technologies Corporation in 1983, a software company with patented technology sold to such clients as Microsoft, and Genprobe Technologies Inc. in 1988, a biotech company. The companies are successful today and both are publicly traded. In 1990, Russ was asked to partner in the founding of Vancouver's first major motion picture sound mixing studio, the award winning Sharpe Sound Studios. After its successful start up in 1992, Russ joined a number of former partners to form InMedia Software Inc., a new multimedia image technology company. InMedia eventually evolved into several companies, PhotoChannel Networks currently listed on the Montreal exchange and ETI Entertainment Technologies Inc., creator of such personal imaging products as Cosmopolitans Virtual Makeover, Seventeen Style Studio and Kodaks Picture Planet. Hart C.A. Robin is a Chartered Accountant and has held several senior financial management and director roles in technology and entertainment related companies. Most recently, he has held key positions with Everest Entertainment Inc. and has consulted with Motion Works Group Limited and the Vancouver Film School concerning strategic planning and raising of capital. Robin earned his CA degree with Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co., (now KPMG) and spent 3 years in Toronto with the firms corporate troubleshooting group.
