Don has always included creative writing as an important part
of his studio practise. He has published a variety of endeavours
which range from narratives to poetic fantasies. In one early
writing project developed at the University of Victoria, he
published a number of creative stories in local publications
as an example of "context" writing. These writings
dealt with unorthodox topics and were first showcased in a radio
publication called, Offbeat Magazine. These publications participated
in the same unorthodox vision which inspired his radio programs
and audio production pieces. Don later expanded his publication
context to include a more national presentation. |
