1954 Vintage Gibson ES-125 Archtop! Comes in Nice Chipboard Case! Up for auction is a killer 1954 vintage Gibson ES-125 in original Vintage Sunburst finish - talking about a vintage vibe! It appears to be 100% original except the old-style open-back Grovers. The original P-90 pickup measures 8.10k ohms, and it sounds amazing. This ES 125 is in EXCELLENT cosmetic, considering its age (see pics) showing a few minor dents and scratches, as well as some unusual laquer checking. No breaks, cracks, or repairs. Neck is straight and true. The original frets show only slight wear. The neck is straight and the action is low. The guitar plays very well with SWEET action. The tone is amazing - WARM and THICK with beautiful harmonics. It's got just the right amount of grit and break up but can still be clean. Very responsive to your touch.
